Time measuring system and early start detection
The organiser has a professional time measuring system. With a finish line camera the time can be evaluated to the precision of 1/1000 of seconds. Crashes near the finish line are clearly recognizable. Race time and results will be evaluated using the program of Swiss Athletics, the swiss track and field association, adapted to unicycle racing.
As a novelty to the world of unicycle racing, we have an electronic early start detection device, ending any ambiguity on early starts. This device is in use since the year 2008 in Switzerland.
